What is a custom song?
A custom song is an educational track created around a topic you choose.
Parents commonly request songs for:
- specific maths concepts
- spelling, reading, grammar, or other English topics
- science topics or facts
- history events or themes
- geography concepts
- physical education or sports skills
- confidence, focus, or wellbeing
- other school topics not yet covered in the TeachTune library
Songs are written to be engaging and easy to remember, helping children reinforce learning through listening and repetition.
How custom requests work
The process is simple and handled personally:
- You email TeachTune with your request
- We review the topic and confirm suitability
- You receive a payment link for the custom song
- The song is created and delivered as a downloadable MP3, allowing families to listen anytime without screens or internet access.
Custom songs are designed for listening at home, in the car, or as part of a daily routine.
What to include in your request
To help ensure the song is created in a way that best supports your child, please include:
- your child’s age or year level
- the subject area
- the topic or concept you would like covered
- any specific areas your child finds difficult
